"The CUBintage" es un proyecto inspirado en el Jazz que se hacía en la década de los años 50 y 60 en Cuba.

​Este quinteto retoma la elegancia yl el sonido de la música de antaño en Cuba, donde grandes maestros como Bebo Valdés, Benny Moré, Celia Cruz, Ernesto Lecuona, Israel "Cachao" López, Pedro Justiz "Peruchín", entre otros, crearon un estilo inconfundible dentro de la música latina, marcando un camino bien definido e inconfundible en el mundo entero.

El nombre The CUBintage, es una combinación de las palabras Cuba y Vintage, aludiendo al carácter retro de este quinteto,

"The CUBintage” is a project inspired by the Cuban music of the 1950s and ’60s. 

This quintet returns to the musical elegance of the 1950s and ’60s in Cuba, when great musicians such as Bebo Valdés, Benny Moré Celia Cruz, Ernesto Lecuona, Israel “Cachao” López, Pedro Justiz “Peruchín” among others, created an unmistakeable style within Latin music, marking a clear path and a particular sound that is instantly recognizable worldwide.

CUBintage is a combination of the words Cuba and Vintage, alluding to the retro character of this group.
